Frontline MGB Salisbury/Tube Axle restoration

Frontline axle rebuild service for the Salisbury/Tube MGB axle.

This is no ordinary rebuild and features our tried and tested ingredients that are famous for putting down the power of our restorations safely for over three decades. Collectively we are sure that Frontline axles have covered over 1 million miles, in road cars and race cars alike.

You can send us your axle or purchase a core unit from us for the works to be carried out. Casings are cleaned, shot blasted, measured to ensure serviceability and then powder coated. Once the casings are restored we install a Limited Slip Differential in conjunction with our EN24 Uprated Half-Shafts. There is a choice of Crown Wheel and Pinion ratio and these are accompanied by a full bearing set with new seals throughout – including our sealed rear wheel bearings with double lipped seal. A new differential backplate is fitted and all bolts are replaced with new hardware.

This is often a great opportunity to ask us to install our MGB Rear Disc conversion kit and/or the 5-Link suspension bracketry.
