1973 MGB GT LE50

We are delighted to offer for sale LE32, as part of the Frontline Cherished programme.

Although the car was originally restored to an exceptionally high LE50 specification in 2016, this example is made even greater, by the more recent installation of the Abingdon-Edition powertrain and suspension package in 2018 at 9,952 miles.

These additional works were completed in 2018 and amounted to almost £40,000.00 over and above the original restoration. The upgrades comprised of an all new, 2500cc Duratec Engine, built to the highest specification with an output of 290bhp and 326nm of torque. To make this additional power usable, the LE50 suspension was also replaced with our most elite handling solution, the 6-Link including torque reaction bars.

The car is one of the highest specification LE50 restorations we have done, with notable options over and above standard, including; Adjustable Power steering, Electric Windows, Air conditioning, Limited Slip Differential, Heated seats, Heated front and rear screens, Extended leather, rear seating, central arm rest and Dunlop style wheels.

The car is located at our Abingdon head quarters and is offered for sale on behalf of its owner, the original commissioner, who has meticulously maintained LE32 with annual services and a ‘no expense spared’ attitude. It presents exceptionally well and its condition throughout is a credit to its owner.
